2014 Ford F-150 Brake Parts

Need 2014 Ford F-150 brake pads, rotors, or hardware? 2014 is a 12th-gen F-150 (2009–2014). This page is only that F-150 pickup. It is not F-250/F-350 Super Duty, and it is not an Expedition.

4WD vs RWD still changes the front hoses. A growl or pedal pulsation is usually a rotor. A squeal on the first stop is often glazed pads or missing hardware clips.

12th-gen F-150 (2009–2014) brake shop notes — 2014

These are brake shop notes for the 12th-gen F-150 (2009–2014) that includes 2014. 4×2 vs 4×4, Lightning, and GVW packages can change pad, rotor, and hose numbers. They are not for F-250/F-350 Super Duty, F-150 Heritage-only rows, or Expedition.

What usually brings people here

  • Pedal pulsation or a growl that rises with road speed → rotor (BD126433E / BD180286E). Confirm stud count and diameter against the Front/Rear lists before ordering.
  • Squeal on the first stop or after a short drive → glazed pads (QC14141 / ZD14141) or missing/worn abutment clips (H5748). ThermoQuiet boxes that say “hardware in the box” still deserve a visual check of the old clips.
  • Soft or sinking pedal after a visual leak check → inspect the flexible hoses on this page (e.g. BH144552) for cracks, bulges, or wet fittings, then bleed with the correct fluid. This page does not list master cylinders or ABS modulators — stay with the SKUs shown.

ThermoQuiet vs QuickStop

Front pads on this page: ThermoQuiet QC14141 vs QuickStop ZD14141. ThermoQuiet is the quieter ceramic / OE-style path (often with hardware in the box); QuickStop is the value ceramic alternative — same application, different line. Rear pads: ThermoQuiet QC16021 vs QuickStop ZD16021.

While you’re in there

While the calipers are off, inspect hose fittings for wetness and make sure the guide pins slide freely. Fresh abutment clips (H5748) are cheap insurance when the old ones are rusty or missing. If the truck also clunks or wanders, see 2014 Ford F-150 suspension parts for ball-joint / tie-rod notes before you button the knuckle back up.

Shop notes only — not a service manual. Use the factory procedure or a Haynes/Chilton manual for wrench work, torque, and safety steps. Leave a comment with 4×2 vs 4×4, coil vs air (if equipped), and the symptom if you want a part-number check.

Fitment notes

These Wagner numbers come from the WC900 1995–2019 catalog (Federal-Mogul 2019), Ford F-150 (12th gen) rows whose year range covers 14 (2014). Confirm 2WD/4WD, GVW, and Lightning packages before ordering. Superscript footnotes on the pad/rotor columns (1 hardware in the box, 2 OE semi-metallic, 4 optional ceramic, 8 E-coat, 9 OE abutment clips, 11 wear sensor) are not part of the SKU.

Do not use F-250/F-350 Super Duty, F-150 Heritage-only, or Expedition pad/rotor numbers on this F-150 page without confirming the application.
